Tracy Aviary

We have been loving our Tracy Aviary membership. They did this cool members only thing one Saturday morning. Normally I pass on that stuff but then though it'd be fun for me and Charlotte to go together. They did a light breakfast buffet and talked about their new tropical bird exhibit they will be building over the next couple years. It sounds really awesome. Then we got a close up view and tour of some of the behind the scenes stuff. It was really cool and I'm so glad we went. It was fun to get a little more up close to some of the birds.

We found this awesome feather just laying around. So huge!

Ok, this was my favorite. This is Andy. He's an Andean Condor and is incredible! They take him on walks sometimes. He came right up to me! It was so awesome! He is huge and just super curious and adorable. Just an amazing creature! We were told he likes strollers and like to taunt the eagles :)

On a separate day we got to go with my nieces and nephew. They had fun too. I love it because its not as crowded as the zoo and really kid friendly. Even the landscaping is kid friendly. So nice!

Afterwards the kids wanted to ride some of the rides at Liberty Park so they did. Its a really neat park. Hoping to check out the "splash pad" thing they've got going there. Maybe we will over Labor Day weekend.
