Summer pictures from Scott

All these pictures are pulled from Scott's phone.

Scott had to say goodbye to a man he loved and admired very much. As did I. I still remember the first time I met him when Scott and I were dating and we wanted to go to the church to play basketball. His grandpa had a key so we went down with him. It was fun to shoot around with him. I think we even played horse. He was impressed with my skills. We definitely shared a love of basketball. I always liked to hear his stories. One of my favorite times was when he gave us a tour of his house. That was sometime in the last year. I can't remember exactly when though. Getting to hear about pictures and stories in his words was so neat. I wish I recorded it because I can't remember it all. So some of these pictures are ones Scott asked me to send to his phone.

We got a paper on our roof one day. Haha! Dang Transcript! ;)

So I couldn't rotate this picture but I love it. I had never seen it until after Scott's grandpa passed away. Grandpa B always told funny jokes so I'm sure that's why Scott was laughing. My husband does look pretty studly here. I love his smile :)

Grandpa B's awesome facial hair that sadly most the Spence boys can't re-create. Haha! Also his infamous toupee. It's fun to hear the boys talk about this growing up.
A very cute picture of Grandma and Grandpa B at grandma's  birthday celebration and mini reunion we did.
All the boys got to pick out a tie from Grandpa B. This was at the funeral home. Jack loves his tie.

The hoop he's playing on is the hoop we now have up front. I love that hoop and almost don't want to repaint it because its just a really great memory for Scott. Its like he gets to keep a piece of his grandpa here. He has a lot of good memories on that hoop!

While I was at camp Scott got a lot of time with the kids and he took a few pics of what they did throughout the week.

The day I came home was Pioneer Day which also means Lagoon Day for Scott's work. After getting home and unpacking and showering I made it up to Lagoon. Jack had this rash. Still don't know what it was but it was gone in a couple days. I didn't get to ride much that day. I was just so exhausted and Charlotte wanted to go with Scott on some rides so I let them. Hopefully in the next few years I'll get to finally ride Cannibal. It's hard when you have little kids. We did take some family pictures where we dressed up like outlaws. I'll have to find the copy of that sometime. The kids had fun though and I was glad Scott was able to take them still even though I couldn't be there in the morning.

 My cute boys :)
Me and Charlotte on the bat. I'm actually in a picture! Haha!

We got up early one day and headed to Sandy to watch the balloons launch. So neat!

After the balloons we drove to the Draper temple and met Rick there. Then he suggested Cecret Lake. So we left his car at a park and ride and he hopped in with us and we hiked to Cecret Lake.

Afterwards we went to the Christensen reunion. Funny enough, not my side of the family. As far as I can tell we're not related through the name Christensen. This was up at Jake Garn's house. Beautiful area and really neat home. We spent a little time there but the kids were tired so we headed home a little early.

My weird kids being pirates with peg legs :)
