Wow, it's been forever since my last post. Almost a month! I think the last one was after my last dr. appt and tomorrow I have another. I'm really not excited about it cuz I think I have to do the glucose test. Yuck. And I think that means drawing blood which is practically impossible to do with me so it'll probably be through my hand which bruises bad and depending on how much can hurt bad too. It'll be nice to see the doctor though since he's been gone the last couple appts. I have a couple questions for him. Can I just say though, I'm really not a fan of braxton hicks contractions. All the books I've read in say they're not painful and it's just a tightening in like one part of your uterus as opposed to the whole thing contracting. Yeah, I think people are liars. Maybe they're not painful compared to real ones (I obviously have yet to find out) but mine still hurt. Especially the ones down in the lower part of my uterus. I better buck up cuz this ain't getting easier. The baby sure moves around alot though. And this little girl must be shy. I'll feel her kicking up a storm and moving around so I'll tell Scott to come over and watch my stomach becuase it's pretty funny seeing my stomach move around like an alien lives in there. So as soon as I try to show him, she stops. Even at work I try to show people cuz you can see it through my shirt, then she stops again. It's like she knows. I think she wants people to think that I'm crazy. It's kinda funny. And sometimes if I poke at her she'll kick back. I'm getting pretty excited. My mom has bought me a ton of baby clothes already and they're so cute! I swear she's always buying something.
So I finally turned 25 which weirds me out. I so don't feel that old. I still think of myself as like 20. When I'm with the young women I think I'm still so close in age. I got to go with the youth to do baptisms at the slc temple on friday. That was cool to see the font there. Of course I didn't think about my dress not fitting me and we couldn't get it zipped up so the super nice worker there had to go get me one from the temple. I'm gonna go buy a new dress after my appt tomorrow since we have ward temple night this friday then I think our stake temple night will be next month. So I need a new dress since I'm a little bustier these days... plus my stomach is sticking out pretty dang good.
Oh, my parents finally got a dog. They haven't had one for a while now. Her name is Jetta and she's so cute! She's part pit bull and part lab. Super sweet dog. She'll do great with the baby. She came over to play with Toby yesterday. They did great until after a while they suddenly broke out fighting and Toby got her pretty good. She's got a puncture near her eye. It just seems like Toby was getting lazy and kept biting at her neck. I think she got sick of it and maybe did something to warn him to knock it off but then he just locked on to her. Scott and I had to try and tear them apart. I felt so bad. My little punk dog. Hopefully we can have them play again sometime without the fight. They did so good for so long and were having a blast.
Anyway, I'll need to get some pregnant pics. I don't think I actually have any yet. I feel like all I do is work and when I'm not working or taking care of the house I'm trying to rest because I usually push myself to do way more than I should. So hopefully I'll get some pics soon!

Glad things are going well with the pregnancy! I never noticed any of the Braxon Hicks contractions, funny because the Dr had to tell me I was having one at an appointment! If you haven't yet, I would suggest you take some sort of child birth class. It will help you deal with the real and painful contractions!
I hated the glucose test! I had to go back for the 3 hour one. which really sucked! I always requested for them to draw on my hands...I have got crappy veins and they always ended up "digging" when they draw on my arms. I totally understand how you feel! Good luck with the test, hopefully you will "pass" the first time! Would love to see more pictures on here...especially the prego ones!
You have to put some prego pix up! I wanna see!
Love ya!
Jessie
I wanna see that preggo belly of yours. I hear ya on the contractions - I had braxton hicks as well, but I was lucky and they didn't hurt - sorry you have to deal with that! I didn't mind the glucose test - tasted like flat soda to me! I hope all is well and you are surviving the snow and cold!!! Miss you!
I read about your glucose experience on Liz's blog...sorry it was so horrible! I agree with Megan on it tasting like flat soda (maybe a bit more syrup-like)...I hated the waiting around forever part! The 3 hour one was really bad...I was starving and had horrible heartburn of which I wasn't allowed to take anything for it! Hopefully you passed the first time and don't have to take the risk by taking the 3 hour one and passing out again!
