The rest of our trip up to the present...
We went to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library while in Simi and got to see the Air Force One Exhibit with Marine One, the miniature white house exhibit and also a piece of the Berlin Wall that stands outside near the gardens. I wish we had more time but Charlotte woke up late from a nap so we only had about 45 min to see stuff but luckily my friend Heather saved us some money and found a half off coupon. So awesome! So it was only $12. Can't complain.
Scott and Charlotte at the library. We really wish we had more time here and may come back next time we're out which may be in Nov. for another wedding
Charlotte was getting kinda fussy. She wasn't too happy being at the temple for so long but was a good sport about it all. I caught her in a bit of a good mood here.
Ashley and Peter coming out of the temple. So happy for them.
One way Scott had to entertain Charlotte while we did pics was let her push her stroller around. She got a kick out of it for a little while
My little sweetie at the reception. She was dancing a bit but really like being able to walk around
She was so tired that night. She hardly ever cuddles up to me like this anymore so I enjoyed every minute of it. She was so sweet and just so exhausted. Such a trooper. She had a long day
This was after a diaper change off the highway. She wanted to drive I guess. We let her... just kidding....
She has done nothing but walk pretty much since we got back from Cali. I can't remember the last time she crawled around the house... seriously. So she likes to pick things up and carry them around and my train case is one of those things
I've been trying to push myself recently bike riding and going further south in town which means more uphill and this was the other day when I took Droubay up to the golf course. I also went up to Skyline the other day. It's hard but a great workout and the more I do it the easier it gets.... One day soon I'll be riding back from Erda.
My brother is a drummer and bought this for Charlotte's bday. She likes to play with it. Sometimes she just slides it around though and that's entertainment enough for her.
This past Sunday we walked to church and since Charlotte's naptime is during church and she won't fall asleep at church anymore, she crashed while walking home and she pulled the blanket over her head. So cute.
On May 20 we had another wedding to go to. Scott's cousin, Ryan Bennion, got married at the Timpanogos temple and we went down for that. They have so many gorgeous tulips blooming right now and I wanted to get more pics with Charlotte but it was so windy and my dress was gonna blow up so I could hardly move but we got a couple cute pics of Charlotte with some tulips.
This is Charlotte with her Grandma Spence
I thought these were some of the coolest tulips I've seen. One day when we finish our yard I want a garden that can have something bloom in all seasons and I'm thinking I'll be planting lots of bulbs for some pretty color in spring. So beautiful!
This is Jordan and Ryan Bennion. They are so cute together and I don't really know her very well yet but she seems really nice and sweet and I just love her dress. I love the classic old fashion stuff and she looks just beautiful. Congrats to them!
On the way to Ryan's luncheon we saw this sweet park in PG and after talking to Scott's parents realized that it was the park behind his Aunt and Uncle's house. Then even funnier, when we pulled into the park, his cousin Logan was playing tennis. What are the odds. In Utah Co. for a Bennion wedding and run into a Spence... it was a day of family! So anyway, the park is this discovery park and definitely one of the coolest parks I've seen. We thought we'd let Charlotte go play before we headed home.
They have 3 beehives to play in... kinda cool
Charlotte just loves to walk so this was fun. Lots of ramps and stuff
One view of the park. Just really cool and really original. They don't make parks like this anymore.
She just looks so cute walking around. She's getting into a really fun exploratory stage. I've been so excited for this so I can take her to museums and stuff. I love to go places like that and have been waiting for the day to share that with her. My parents always did stuff like that with us as kids and I have a lot of fun memories and hope Charlotte loves it as much as I do.

Glad I noticed that coupon...it can get pricey going to the library! That park looks so fun! There is one like that near SPencer's sister's house up north, but you don't see them often enough!
How funny you ran into Logan! We love that park! It looks like you had a fun trip in Cali and I love seeing little Charlotte walking around. She is so cute!
