I'm going through the few pics I have to post and had some from playing in the snow. Can't remember if I posted much from the reunion but apparently I only took like two pics..... and it was the very first thing we did..... sledding at East Elementary. The reunion was fun. It was a bummer that there were quite a few people missing still but seemed like just a run of bad luck. But it was nice to see those who were able to make it out. I had a lot of fun. Especially playing bball with the guys. It was quite the workout but I had a good time. Love love love to play basketball. It's what brought Scott and I together. We had Scott's little brother Rick stay with us and his cousin Glen. They just stayed Friday night, so New Years Eve. Scott and I were too tired to stay up but they were good company. I'm looking forward to the next one when Scott's Grandma turns 80 and we get to do it all again! Hopefully we'll have another member of the family by then too. So anyway, here's the two pics from the snow I have.
We got really lucky and got a good snow storm so we could play in the snow (although it also prevented others from getting here). We bundled Charlotte up and she loved the snow. She loved to sled with Scott and loved to eat the powdery snow. I of course had my boogie boards in hand. Since I can't use 'em at the beach I might as well get some use out of 'em. The slick bottom works really well on the snow for sledding.Charlotte was getting so cold. We only stayed out like 45 min then had to get Charlotte out of the snow. She was getting cold. Poor little angel. She had a blast though! She was so funny to see going down this big hill with Scott. Nuv her!
So the next three pics I have are from New Years Day. We had finished up the reunion that day and I found out my parents were taking my nieces and nephew to East to go sledding since they were leaving the next day. So Scott took Charlotte home to get her down for her nap then I went to do some sledding with my family. We had a lot of fun but it was pretty crowded. I took some pics of the kiddos.
Here's Nolan and Cami. I just loved having them up here and it was sad to see them go back. I don't think they like living in Cali that much. They don't seem as happy as they used to be when they were up here. Its sad to see them go through all this stuff and not be able to do a thing about it. Oh well. I told Cami to talk to her mom and try and come up on their spring break. We're also hoping to get them for a month or two in the summer. I guess we'll see. Love these kids.
Here's miss Isabel. She is actually wearing my old snow suit. So funny. Izzy's a funny little girl. Miss her too. She had so much fun in the snow.
This is mini me. My little sister Chloe... whose not so little anymore. She'll be 17 this year! She was freezing. But the dork didn't wear her good snow gear like decent boots and her skinny jeans. Little punk. I guess before I showed up, her and Cami bailed pretty good in the snow so she was kinda done after that. Love my sister though. She's so entertaining. So yeah..... that was a little bit of what we did over the Christmas/New Year holiday.
