Kool Aid Playdough
This past Sat. we spent the evening at Scott's parent's house... at least I think it was this past Sat. Anyway, we were there to watch the BYU basketball game and so Charlotte can see her Grandma and Grandpa Spence. Scott's mom got out some playdough and Charlotte was having a lot of fun with it. So then I was thinking that I need to make some homemade playdough for her to play with. So after searching on the internet and seeing what I had enough of at home I settled on Kool Aid playdough. It doesn't taste good at all but smells delightful! I just mixed up 3 different colors for her to play with. I had also scored a great deal at walmart on cookie cutters. I don't have any but have always wanted a big collection. Well Wilton has a box of 101 cookie cutters. The alphabet, numbers and a bunch of different shapes for all holidays. It's awesome and it's only $10! Yeah, I had to buy them. So I pulled out the shapes I knew she'd recognize and we made different shapes. Then I sculpted a cat for her and then the head accidentally fell onto the ground and the dog ate it and about a half hour later he threw up all his food on the carpet. Lucky me. Love the chain reaction. But besides that we had fun and now I can keep it handy when we wanna add a little variety to the day. Yay for super easy homemade playdough!
