So I had my first appt back in July... I've totally lost track of dates. We took Charlotte. Big mistake. It was at like 1:30 or 2 which means during nap time. Yeah. She was horrible. She hates being closed in small rooms so that was a big fit. Then she hated when the dr was checking me and trying to listen for the heartbeat. Which he couldn't hear. I was about 9 weeks at that point and he said I had a 1 in 10 chance of hearing it. So it was a no go. So I had to schedule to come back in a couple weeks and we'd try again.
Today was that day. My appt was 2:30 and once again during nap time. So this time I had Chloe come down and watch Charlotte while Scott and I went. This time the appt went much faster. Last time was the day that Scott's cousin delivered that morning (if I can remember right I think it was the 20th of July... its coming back to me!) Then another lady delivered and one went into labor right as we showed up to an already packed waiting room. So that really hadn't helped with Charlotte the last time. It was about a 2 hour long appt when it was all said and done. This time I was in and out in like a half hour. So this time we got to hear the quiet little heart beating of our next little baby. So everything seems good so far. My risk of miscarriage is getting smaller and in another couple months I'll get to find out what we're having... yahoo!
As far as how I'm feeling. I get kinda nauseous in the evening. I hate food. Nothing ever sounds good. I eat to not starve and keep my stomach from hurting more but as I transition in to my second trimester that'll hopefully fade away. So hopefully I enjoy cooking again. Good news is I rarely crave sweets so I hope that keeps up. I definitely don't bake the way I used to. Which is great for me because its so not what my body needs. But other than some nausea I'm really lucky and consider myself very lucky. So anyway... my quick update. I have so much more to blog about that hopefully someday I can get around to it all.
