On the 5th we went up to Farr West for Addy's blessinng. I of course didn't take any pictures but oh well. It was a really fun day. Jackson was hungry when we got there and started to cry right as Mark started blessing Addy so I took him out and after the blessing was over headed to the mother's room which is way bigger than ours! There are gliding rockers that actually have room to rock. We have two rockers that squeak horribly so you don't want to rock nor can you really because they are basically up against a wall. That's why there are all these gashes and paint scraped off. All from where the chairs have rubbed against the wall for so long. Then they have nice matching padded chairs for overflow. There were only a couple chairs and 5 of us in there total. Plus a nice changing table and a sink and its in a nice room about 3 times the size of ours. We are in a stake center and ours is seriously pathetic. I hate having to feed Jackson at church but don't have a choice. Its a tiny stinky room when there are poopy diapers in there. The women at Ashlee's ward were complaining about not enough room but their mother's room looks like something you'd see at the temple. It's so nice. I've seen nicer ones than ours in buildings built in the 70s. Ours is beat up! They should really have a larger mother's room. I've never seen one so small especially in a Stake Center. Maybe I'll bring that up as a a project a YW could do for personal progress. Fix up the mother's room.
Okay enough of that... After church we headed over to Ashlee's parent's house. The kids got to run around and play and we got to lounge and just hang out. It was really fun to see her family. They are just really nice, fun and funny to be around. We tried playing badminton. There was enough wind to be difficult and I wasn't doing too great with my hand eye coordination. But we were having a lot of fun. It was really a blast and we wish we all lived a little closer so we could see them more often but we enjoy these times we get to spend with them.
