Charlotte's update

So my Charlotte bug has had it rough. She was sick recently. She had a fever for a couple days but then was kinda acting better. Then a week ago Monday complained about her ear hurting and was crying. I got her in to the dr as soon as I could. My mom came with me because Charlotte does not do well at the dr's office. She freaked out when they tried to weigh and measure her. Then a student had come in to evaluate her. Poor guy didn't know who he was gonna work with. He was super nice. Charlotte screamed when he looked in her ears, nose and mouth. We had to hold her down. The dr came in and confirmed it all. Her right ear had an ear infection and her left ear was slightly red but ok still. So we got amoxicillin and were told we could give her Claritin or Zyrtec too to help with the stuffiness and all that to drain  from her nose and throat. She was so not herself for a couple days then started doing better. This was her sleeping before I took her to the dr.

When she was better we started to potty train again with tons more success! She didn't have any accidents her first day. Overnight she peed. The next day was ok. We had to go out to SLC for some stuff. She would not pee in the store and ended up going before we went in to Costco. I had forgotten clean pants but just happened to buy new capris for her at Old Navy with a gift card I had from huggies reward points. Go me! We got some pull ups at Costco for night time and church and stuck her in that for the time being. She ended up peeing and pooping in it later at home.

Saturday she did great all day and even while Scott and I were gone. She peed on the potty at my parent's. Sunday she did awesome and used the potty at Scott's grandparent's. She did pee in her pants at Scott's parents. We kept bugging her but I think she was just interested in other stuff. Oh well. She's done awesome so far. Still can't get her to poop on the potty but we'll see. I told her I'd take her to the zoo once she didn't need diapers anymore so hopefully we can do that soon. I just need to be sure she'll go in a public place. She's goofy like that.

I can't remember if this is from before or after she was sick but my mom had wanted to get her a wagon for her bday but was trying to find a good one. She came home one day with this. It'll be great for when Jackson can sit up and perfect for the zoo (Scott's mom got us a year pass for one of her bday presents...Yay!). It has a canopy too. It's so nice to have! Now I don't need to worry about getting a double stroller right away.
So besides her being sick and potty training, that's about the extent of what this girl has been up to. She's super silly and funny and has quite the temper. Yet she can be so sweet when she wants to. Love my beautiful Charlotte bug!
