Isn't she a doll? Little miss Addy who looks just like her sister. It got kinda crazy with all the kids and presents so this was the only picture I took. Charlotte had a blast playing with her cousins. Jackson had fun crawling around. Especially going up the stairs. That punk loves stairs since we don't have them. We got some great gifts. Rick had us this year and was super awesome and got us a bike rack to put on my trunk. I am so dang stoked! Now we can take our bikes to St. George and bring the bike trailer and ride around with the kids. If we ever go back to Yosemite we can take our bikes. I love riding the trails in Yosemite. I miss that. It's just awesome to have. Scott's parents gave us some money which has seriously been super helpful. It's not only coming in handy with all my medical issues but Charlotte needed a new car seat so Jackson can use hers. He's officially grown out of his. Scott and I were also in desperate need of some new garments so I ordered us a weeks supply. There were some other little things we picked up and got but we're holding onto the rest just waiting to see what is gonna happen with me.
It was such a nice evening to be able to spend time together and visit and see the kids playing together. Scott and I really enjoyed that time and we were glad we were able to do it Sunday without any other interruptions.
Monday Scott had to go in at like 4 I think but he only worked until 9 or so. I can't remember what we did much that morning. I had set up my appts for my barium enema and CT scan but I think I just worked on getting the house cleaned up and laundry done. I put stars up on Charlotte's ceiling for her. I had Scott take her out for a while so I could do it. He ran a couple errands for me then took her to McDonald's for lunch. We went up to Scott's parent's for a bit and watched some of Scott's mission video with Rick. Then as we left Scott found the camera with Rick's mission stuff on it. We had dinner at my parents. My mom had been looking for some Argentine food places and we found a place that does empanadas. Growing up next to an Argentine in Simi, my mom was familiar with a lot of the stuff and now that I know Scott and a little more about Argentina the pieces all fit together. I remember stuff we'd eat or stuff I'd get and I can totally place it to Argentine names and what not. So anyway, we had empanadas for dinner that night. They were really good. We had Rick come over to so he could try some since he served in Argentina too.
That night we came home and finished up our gifts to the Savior stocking we had been working on. We got a little behind on some it thanks to my medical stuff. But it was fun to be able to do that this year to try and keep Christ in Christmas. The kids went to bed easily and Scott and I enjoyed just relaxing and him having a day off. Santa came that night and brought this stuff for us all:
Charlotte made out pretty good this year. She definitely enjoyed her Christmas morning. She actually woke up at 4 and saw the stuff but Scott and I knew if she got up that early we'd all be miserable the rest of the day. So he got her to fall back asleep and we didn't get up until like 8 or 8:30 I think. It was great. I had made a breakfast casserole the night before so we popped it in the oven and then went to my parent's to open the rest. I knew Jackson would get into anything if I left presents under the tree so I took stuff to my parent's house and wrapped it there then just left it so I didn't have to deal with it. We opened up all our gifts and had breakfast. Scott finally got to open the xbox I bought him since ours died. I got some jewelry from my family. Chloe found me some plumeria earrings which I was super stoked about. I had a pair I bought in HI but one got knocked out the first time Scott and I played bball together. And I could never be mad because I was just excited to be playing basketball with a super cute boy. But Chloe found me some more. I love them. We got some new sheets which is great because I am really starting to hate these cheap walmart ones I bought a year ago. They're a pain. So now I have two good sets and I'm content. Charlotte got to open her Leap Pad 2. She's been loving that thing. It's pretty cool. My mom thought it'd be good for her whenever we travel to like St. George. It will for sure come in handy. I can't even remember everything right now but we were really truly blessed this year. We are part of some awesome families that really love us and take good care of us.
I almost forgot... this was the plate and mug I made at our Super Saturday. Santa ate all his cookies and left a little carrot from the reindeer.
Toby got a bag of chewies for Christmas. We gave him one so he'd leave the kids stuff alone. He's so nosy! :)
Jackson woke up after Charlotte but he got a couple toys from Santa.
That afternoon we were able to go up to Scott's grandparents and see them, his parents, some of the Hollars, and Rick. We stayed for a while and Scott ate. I didn't have much of an appetite. My appetite hasn't been quite the same recently. After visiting with them we headed to my parent's for dinner with my brother. Then we got home that night and crashed. We had been around a lot but we loved all the time we got to spend with family. Love having our families so close to us! Hope everyone else had a great Christmas!
