It needs some work inside and definitely some cleaning up outside. But it will be a cute little homestead when its all done. The master bedroom is quite big! It has a jetted tub and a huge shower. The basement is unfinished but basically all framed out. There is a back deck and a hot tub but not sure it even works. There is a fir pit and a small waterfall and pond. The barn is great and has nice stalls. There is a hay barn attached too. They also have a chicken coop and rabbit hutch. The rabbit hutch is actually sprinkler boxes with pvc pipes connecting them so they can go from box to box underground.
A lot of the property has been let go. The people living there are in a financial crisis. They husband has some health issues and can't work. So they just can't take care of anything or afford it anymore. It's going to take a lot to clean that house out and up but it will be so great when it's done. Monday my dad is going to talk to their lender and hopefully get the ball rolling. The realtor is in that ward my parent's will move into. His daughter's used to ride at this boarding facility where Chloe used to so they kind of knew him from back then. He seems really nice and my mom knows another lady that lives right around the way that boards a horse Chloe used to ride. So they have some people they already know over there. I just really hope it works out. It's a cute house and just has a neat little design to it. It is very unique and I just love all the shade trees around it. I can't wait to plant a garden there. And it will be perfect for the chickens that will be coming end of April/beginning May. My parents also might be taking on a couple alpacas from the people where they keep their horses now. They are talking about wanting to get rid of a couple so my parents might take them on since they're not much more upkeep.
So I'm praying and keeping fingers crossed this works out for them. After all they've been through they deserve a break already. This home would be perfect for them. I just might be more excited than them!
