Park

The snow has finally melted and we're finally having warmer temps where we can go outside and not freeze. So we took the kids to the park last Friday after Scott had gotten off work. My mom came over to hang out too. I think this was also Jackson's first time getting to actually play since he's only been walking since this year. He was loving it. Charlotte was having a blast. But then it started to get packed and crazy. Apparently the thing of the day was to buy McDonald's and bring it to the park to eat. Everyone else was doing that. That reminded me that I can't remember the last time I ate McDonald's. Go me! Oh and this guy brought his boys there and they were shooting off rockets so that was cool to see too.
I just love the mountains in the background. I love being nestled up against the Oquirrhs.

Jackson is still a bit small for the slide but he loves it anyway!

Our schools are on Spring Break right now so that means the schools are nice and empty and we can go to the playgrounds there to avoid the crowd of the park. There aren't many swings at our parks and sometimes it just gets too packed so its nice living within very short walking distance of 2 elementary schools. I took the kids to Copper Canyon yesterday which will be the school Charlotte will attend in another year and a half.

It's been so nice to get outside. Charlotte loves it. I really hope my parent's get this house they want so we can ride down and just spend our days outside enjoying the nature around us. Love this time of year. I don't ever want summer to come. It's just too nice right now!
