The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium Member Sneek Peak and the rest of that day...

Oh what a day! Scott had region tournament for the young men so I took the kids. We were excited to see it even if it wasn't all the way done. There was a very cold north wind. And although Charlotte peed before we left she had to go again. We had to get our cards but it was taking too long so they were allowing new members just to go in. The line for that was still longer but Charlotte hung in there. Jackson was good hanging out in his stroller the whole time. It is going to be so awesome when its finished but they have A LOT of work to do. I will probably wait a month before going back. They only had otters, penguins, the shark tank and toucans available. Plus some other small critters. But there is a ton of construction going on still. Luckily they are tacking on an extra month to the year membership. Even though there wasn't a ton to see, we still had a good time. Here are some pics I took:

You can see how rough all this stuff is. They have their work cut out!

Charlotte and Jack were loving the penguins. They're so cute! I'd love to do the penguin encounter sometime. I think it'd be so fun!

These are some of the frogs in the Amazon Forest area. Cute little poison darts! Love frogs! :)

Had to make sure I got a pic of our dude hanging out in the stroller.

I think its so cute how they just stick to the glass all cute like this.

My cute punks

You can see they were still painting in this area. I think I actually saw some thing where Alex Boye recently did a video shoot with a children's choir in front of this side of the shark tank. I think it was after the painting was done which it wasn't as of Saturday! Haha!

The one above and last ones are in the shark tunnel. I love sea turtles so I was excited to see this guy swim by.

It was neat to see but I will wait until the other tanks are filled and cycled before we return unless we get bored one day.

Afterwards the kids went on a health food adventure with me looking for some missing items for my 10 day detox I'm now doing. We got some supplements at Costco and found this bulk organic store that has some random things. Finally found coconut sugar and chia seeds! Coconut sugar isn't part of the detox but I had been looking randomly for a couple years. I also found a place in Sugarhouse to buy hemp seeds. It was a long day which ended with a partial bike ride to my parents (killed my tube and tire went flat), dinner with them and then was supposed to end in riding but ended up welcoming a new family member. Bike pictures are first.

We only made it to Pine Canyon. Jack was asleep but Scott ran the pump to us. Wouldn't fill up so I sent him  home and asked my dad to come pick us up. While waiting we enjoyed the beauty of the valley and the mountains.

This is Oliver. He is so darn sweet! He will be my parents barn cat. My mom's friend's daughter wanted him to go to a good loving family. He had been their barn cat up East Canyon in the SLC valley but they were afraid that coyotes or cougars might get him so that's why they were looking for a good home for him. He was so scared the first day but is warming up to us all. He'll be moved to an area in the barn this weekend. Love this guy! He'll make a great mouse hunter! :)
